Job Type/Schedule
This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week. Hours for this position will be Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with the occasional overtime required.

This position is in the Department of Emergency Medicine. The position is located at Renard Hospital. This position is for the Medical School Campus.
Essential Functions
Position provides diversified secretarial and administrative support for the Emergency Medicine Research Core.
1. Make study packets/binders, assist with drafting source documents, obtain and file regulatory documents for regulatory binder and complete the Initial QA review and filing of high enrolling study packets into binders.
2. Oversee archiving of research files and assist with file clean up in the division research folder.
3. Maintain spreadsheets used to track enrollment for billing purposes, data entry for research data into study databases and assist with research metric tracking.
4. Pay invoices through AIS system and track appropriate documentation includes ordering/receiving supplies.
5. Help with organization of work space.
6. Greeter into research space (answering phone/door).
7. Arrange meetings (SN's, webinars, trainings, etc.).
8. Assist with grant preparation materials (biosketches, collecting letters of support, etc).
9. Request cost information for budget preparation.
10. Maintain training documents for research coordinators (CV's, licenses, NIH GCP, lab training, shipping training, etc.).
Other Functions:
1. Provides assistance in the day-to-day administration of Emergency Medicine Research Core.
2. Provides staff support during vacation/illnesses.
Required Qualifications
* Equivalent of High School diploma.
* 3 years related secretarial experience.
Preferred Qualifications
* 2 years college or business school.
* Previous experience in a clinical research setting and/or administrative research setting.
* Working knowledge of varied word processing and PC based systems and other standard office equipment.
* Familiarity with FIS system.
* Ability to use discretion and good judgment.
Salary Range
The hiring range for this position is $15.68 - $19.60 per hour.
