Job Description**

World Wide Technology, Inc. is currently seeking an Infrastructure Automation Technical Solutions Architect to develop our infrastructure automation business. This strategic position will reside within the Global Data Center Infrastructure team as part of the global engineering organization. This resource will be responsible for evaluating and developing new automation solutions for the WWT Advanced Technology Center (ATC), enabling our regional technical and sales field resources, and working on strategic sales opportunities.

In collaboration with the Infrastructure Automation practice lead, executives, regional architects, and sales leadership:

+ Will set go-to-market strategy for WWT to grow the IA business.

+ Build and maintain collateral for our field to help them position and sell IA solutions. These could be things like Brochures, Briefings, Workshops, Reference Architectures, Advisory Services, Sandboxes, POCs, and demos.

+ Train WWT and/or partners through roadshows and briefings on our unique ability to market, sell and deliver IA solutions.

+ Collaborate with our professional services organization to set the strategy for growing our IA solutions business

+ Conduct regular virtual team meetings and training on related to IA products and solutions.

+ Develop partner ecosystem and relationships that are complementary to WWT's go-to-market strategy around IA solutions.

+ Collaborate with public/private cloud management and compute infrastructure teams to create higher-level solutions.

+ Support business development and marketing initiatives as needed.

+ Achieve converged certification requirements to maintain partner status


**Key Skills and Training**

At least 3 years architecting and/or operating compute infrastructure automation and configuration management solutions and products such as:

+ Automation and Configuration Management Tools:

+ Ansible and Ansible Tower

+ Puppet and Puppet Enterprise

+ Chef and Chef Automate

+ SaltStack and SaltStack Enterprise

+ Knowledge of core infrastructure automation technologies:


+ Scripting

+ Redfish



·Knowledge of compute infrastructure management points of integration:

oHypervisors: VMware, Hyper-V, KVM

oServer Management: Dell EMC iDRAC, Cisco UCS Manager, HPE iLO

oPublic Cloud: Azure Resource Manager, AWS Portal

oCloud Management Platforms: VMware vRA/vRO, Cisco CloudCenter

At least 5 years of experience architecting and/or deploying datacenter solutions, including the following products:

+ Servers -- Cisco UCS, HPE ProLiant, or Dell EMC PowerEdge

+ Storage -- NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, Pure, Nimble, or IBM

+ Networking -- Cisco Nexus, HPE, Dell EMC

Working knowledge of key application suites leveraging SDI solutions including:

+ Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems

+ SQL, Oracle, and OSS databases

+ iPAM, Software-Defined Networking, and Software-Defined Storage solutions

Superior organizational, conflict resolution, time managementand negotiation skills are required.
