Job Description**

World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Practice Lead focused on our Service Provider Solutions Development practice as part of our Service Provider Solutions team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of architects with expertise in developing end-to-end validated systems comprised of hardware and software used by service providers including Network Function Virtualization, 4G/5G Mobility and Service Orchestration platforms.

The practice is responsible for supporting pre-sales activities directly or advising our sales regions on appropriate staffing levels to support sales activities. The role is also responsible for working cross-functionally to support our other business, professional services, and supply chain operations teams to be successful in the Service Provider NFV, 5G and MANO areas plus any new relevant solutions for our customers.

As a Practice Lead, you will represent WWT's business in this technology area. The lead is responsible for understanding the direction of related technology trends in the service provider industry and providing guidance to our global business operations, professional services and supply chain operations teams on how to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Finally, the lead is responsible for gathering and reporting on all practice metrics for business growth, technology segment growth, key opportunities and collaborating with professional services on growth in related areas.



+ Lead a team of architects responsible for the SP Solutions Development practice

+ Manage pre-sales engagements with the team to ensure customer satisfaction

+ Align SP Solutions Development strategy with WWT's overall business objectives

+ Collaborate with professional services to ensure successful services growth

+ Educate our sales and business development teams on SP Solutions

+ Enable our supply chain and integration facilities to be successful

+ Develop and maintain relationships with counterparts in our partner network

+ Manage all reporting requirements of the team and practice business areas

+ Demonstrate and champion all aspects of WWT's culture


+ 10+ years working in a technical role in the service provider industry

+ 5+ years working in a pre-sales or business development role in the SP industry

+ Inspire and lead a team of architects to successful outcomes

+ Self-motivated to complete long term complex programs

+ Ability to work across many teams with diverse points of view

+ Strong personal interaction and communication skills required

+ Strong documentation and program management skills required

+ Ability to travel up to 40%
