Job Description**

WWT Asynchrony Labs (WWTAL) has an opportunity available for a Professional Development and Training Manager. The individual in this role will work closely with management, HR Business Partners, and the WWT Learning and Career Development Manager and team to support training and professional development needs of WWTAL. The primary work location will be in 900 Spruce St, St. Louis, MO, with occasional travel to offices in the greater St. Louis area as well as other offices nationwide.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Design, plan, organize, and direct training activities for the WWT Asynchrony Labs division.

+ Assess training needs through methods such as surveys, interviews with employees, and consultation with managers, and/or instructors.

+ Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.

+ Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs and workshops, providing recommendations for improvement.

+ Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.

+ Administer and support professional development programs to include the WWTAL Apprenticeship Program and WWT NOVA Program (company's leadership training and mentor program)

+ Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.

+ Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.

+ Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships: Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.

+ Review, analyze, and recommend outside training opportunities.

+ Liaison between various business units and champion of professional development programs and opportunities across the organization.

+ Additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational change and growth.

**Qualifications**

**The following knowledge skills and attributes are required:**

+ Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience pertaining to Professional Development and Training

+ Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, HR, and/or Business or equivalent degree/ experience.

+ Communication (English Language): Strong and effective written and verbal communication in a variety of formats to include, email policy creation and updates, training creation, one on one coaching, management and customer meeting engagements, presentations.

+ Active listening skills.

+ Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.

+ Cooperation: Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.

+ Dependability: Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.

+ Integrity: Job requires being honest and ethical.

+ Critical Thinking: Job requires using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems to suggest training and address various organizational gaps.
